Come to Science tutorials! Every Wednesday, two science teachers will be available in the Science Theatre from 3:45-4:15pm for extra help. This is addition to regular help sessions that your Science teachers offer in their classrooms. As the semester goes on we may add extra sessions depending on demand, especially as we get closer to those exams. This is a drop in service for students, whether your teacher is there or not there will be a science teacher available to help you! Sessions start on September 15th!

Up to 175 NWT Aboriginal youth from ages 16-35 are invited to apply for the aboriginal youth economic development workshop to be held in Dettah, Aug 8th-14th. The recipient must demonstrate many of the qualities that wee Jenny’s: creativity, independence of mind, honesty participation in school activities, outgoing personality, interest in art and travel and a sense of humour.
Please submit no later than Friday June 18th at 12 noon to the main office the following: most recent report card, validation statement, description on how you meet the criteria of the award, describe and list your extra curricular activities, volunteer work and school and community athletic involvement you’re your future goals.
SPA SERVICES FOR GRADS
Cosmetology will be offering Spa services for grads. Services being offered are: Manicures, facials, polish application, waxing, pedicures, fake eyelash application, eye lash and eyebrow tinting. All of these services are being offered for a small fee and grads need to come to the cosmo lab to see me either before or right after first period this week to book their appointments with us. Staff is more than welcome to take advantage of this great offer also.
