On February 19th, the new Cosmetology Lab was opened at Sir John Franklin High School. This was the first day of classes in this new facility and the instructor (Alexis Saunders) and the students were pretty excited about the brand new equipment and supplies that were ready to be unpacked. The artificial nails and polish that were in the boxes were fun and colourful and the girls were looking forward to having the chance to use them all. Because they had all chosen to be in this class, all the students were happy that they had the opportunity to work in such a great classroom. The students will be ready very soon to practice on “real” models. An official opening of this lab will be held after Spring Break.
