Holiday Fundraising Dinner
The Culinary and Baking Clubs are pleased to announce that their Holiday Fundraising dinner was a huge success! The event took place in the plaza of Sir John on Saturday, December 6th at 5:45pm and served over 50 people, all of whom were delighted with both the quality and presentation of the food.
The menu was prepared by our students who have been working with Chef Travis Stewart, and teacher Alison Cartwright to develop their culinary skills. The dinner included:
- South Asian Cauliflower and Coconut Cream Soup
- Marinated Fennel Salad
- Malaysian Braised Lamb Shank served with Lemongrass and Ginger Infused Mashed Potatoes
- White-Chocolate and Orange Bavarian Cream Torte with Macerated Strawberry Coulis
Thanks to all who attended and volunteered! If you missed this one, you will have another chance sometime in the New Year to attend another dinner.
